Salary: £41,000–£43,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

We are a warm and supportive family looking for an experienced, full-time nanny to join us on a permanent basis to care for our two young children: a curious and developing 3.5-year-old and an easygoing 1-year-old. This is a sole charge role during the summer and beyond.

We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can meet them where they are developmentally—engaging in meaningful play, offering consistent guidance, and providing emotional support. Our eldest responds best to a nanny who is present, hands-on, and offers a balance of firmness and kindness—not simply giving instructions but taking time to connect and guide.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sole charge of both children (ages 3.5 and 1) during working hours
- Creating a nurturing, stimulating, and structured environment
- Engaging in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
- Supporting emotional and behavioural development with calm consistency
- Standard nursery duties (children’s laundry, tidying, meal/snack prep, eldest’s school bus pick-up/drop-off is 5 minutes drive away)
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment in children's play and living areas, ensuring toys and materials are tidied up after use

What We’re Looking For:

- Reliable, firm, and kind in your approach
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Hands-on, patient, and engaging with children
- Confident in setting boundaries in a loving and respectful way
- Professional and communicative with parents
- Clean, organised, and attentive to maintaining a tidy environment for our children
- Prior nannying experience required
