Hi there! I'm Rebecca and I've been babysitting on and off for a few years. I'm currently in my first year studying Creative Arts I Health and Wellbeing before studying this degree I used to be a nursery nurse which gave me a lot of experience working with infants and toddlers. I truly love working with young kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach.
I am certified in CPR and basic first aid. When I'm not in University or babysitting, I enjoy running, and reading books and I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family and would be happy to provide references if requested.
My Experience
I looked after an 5 year-old boy and an 8-year old girl during parents' evening.
*ensure children are bathed, fed, and in bed prior to parent's return
*create innovative and educational games using arts and crafts, children's books, and light exercises that improved 5-year-old's speech impediment and self-confidence
* play with children and read bedtime stories, improving children's interest in reading and storytelling
* clean and organize the house, minimizing parents' clean up times
* help an 8-year old girl with homework or other activities, increasing her test scores at school by 15%.
