Unfortunately, our experience with Cindy was very disappointing. She was not warm or kind with children and made little to no effort to build a connection.
My son invited her to play with her the moment she arrived, but she ignored him and started to play toys based on her own interest by herself, rather than his. Within the first 10 minutes of the trial, it was clear she wasn’t a good fit, though I paid her for a full hour as a gesture.
She later asked for a second chance, I hesitated but gave her the benefit of doubt. But again she did nothing to engage with my son - she just sat on the sofa the whole time while he played alone and my son wasn’t happy with her. After about 30 minutes, I had to end the session. Once again, I paid her an hour, even though for both times, she did nothing. To my surprise, she then asked me for two hours of pay, despite putting in no effort and showing no initiative.
Overall, she does not give me the impressing of being a caring person nor an engaging nanny - failed to connect with my child, did not demonstrate any enthusiasm with kids, and I would not recommend her as a nanny.
