About Me
Hello my name is Bethany Allen. I am a fully OFSTED registered childminder working in Scarborough, I work in the town centre and offer pick up and drop off school services to both Northstead and St Peter’s Primary School along with full time childcare. I have 3 children of my own, all boys, aged 4, 1 and newborn. I have a full DBS check, fully insured and have a full paediatric first aid qualification.
My Experience
My mum has been a childminder for 30+ years so I grew up in the childminding environment. After having my first son in 2018 I knew I wanted to go into childminding and while on my maternity completed all the relevant courses/documentation to become a fully registered childminder in December 2019. I have been doing this nearly 4 years as well as bringing up my own children. I have a vast knowledge of childcare and feel I am able to help any child blossom in my setting with the activities and care that I offer.
My Qualifications
I have the required OFSTED recognised ‘Introductory Qualification for Childminding’ run though Childminding.co.uk
My Availability
I am very flexible in the care that I can offer and I work Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6pm. I also offer full childcare in the school holidays but close for 2 weeks over Christmas.
