About Me
I am an enthusiastic, friendly and energetic person who loves working with children. I am currently training at Norland Nanny College in Bath. I am fully qualified in childcare (Level 3 Cache plus a Degree in Childcare) am DBS checked and have First Aid training. I also have over five years experience with all ages and have worked in schools, nurseries and with families. I understand the responsibility that I am being given when entrusted with the care of people’s children & aim to create a warm, fun and safe environment in which these children may flourish & reach their full potential.
My Experience
I have worked overseas as a Nanny for holiday companies for four seasons - two winter seasons and two summer seasons. The resorts enabled the children in my care to take advantage of a good balance of indoor and outside activities including water activities in the sea and in the pools. My duties included organising and implementing age appropriate activities like arts and crafts, swimming, sailing (in small craft), rounders and other ball games for the older children, sandcastles with the younger ones. With the tiny babies in between singing, cuddles & story time, I was responsible for changing, feeding and settling them for their naps (according to their individual needs) and maintaining their routines in line with their parents’ wishes. I have worked for two families in London as a live in Nanny and worked with a Haywards Heath family as a live out Nanny (baby and 3 year old). I have had placements across the whole childcare spectrum, from families to schools and have always had excellent reports.
