About Me
I am a friendly, gentle and hard-working student who is currently studying English Literature. My hobbies include singing, drawing (I have written and illustrated a children's picture book), and acting, all which give me excellent communication and creative skills that I find essential when working with children. I can imagine the stress of finding a suitable nanny for your child, and so I have a fresh and individualistic approach. I believe that any rigidly preset ideas of how one should go about nannying defeat the purpose of finding a nanny that can effectively take care of your child. I focus solely on the individual and unique attributes of your child and place emphasis on spending time to bond and get to know your child as well as yourselves. This enables me to develop an awareness of the child's unique personality, habits, and character which then allows me to become a nanny that the child can trust, relate to, and befriend. As well as nannying, I am willing to help support the child or children in their studies as I have experience tutoring. As well as English I am able to speak French, as I have studied abroad and at various international schools. Although I have undertaken First Aid training I do not currently have a First Aid qualification, but am certainly willing to do one if it is something that would make you and your family more comfortable.
My Experience
I have had experience during 2017-2020 volunteering on a Saturday School programme where I taught and prepared classroom material for 30 students between the ages of 10-11. As the President of the group that arranged this volunteering programme a vast portion of the responsibility for the programme was something I managed, and so I participated in every aspect of the volunteering to ensure the programme's success - from communicating with my fellow volunteers, to ensuring every classroom material and presentation was of a high quality, and to making sure that the children in the classroom were happy and intellectually stimulated. I have had experience as a temporary babysitter and nanny for a child of two years on a daily basis for one month and a child of six years for one month.

I graduated from Sixth Form in 2021 with honours and am now studying for an English Literature BA.

I have used Alex's services for a few sessions before the holidays.
She is very polite, likes children, listens to the customer. She asks good questions to make sure she does well. Most of all, she has a lot of enthusiasm and is considerate.
It was nice to use her babysitting services.
