My Summary

My Experience

I previously taught Tae Kwon Do for 7 years teaching children from the ages of 4 to 14 years old. This included lesson plans and creating new ways to engage with the kids and make sure they found the learning fun. There I also developed skills working with children with special needs, where I created a good bond with them and learned how to change my teaching methods in order to better interact in a way they understood. I have also taught Spanish in an Scottish school for a year during High School, and have recently just returned from a year away in Spain teaching English at a Spanish Primary school. Again, this involved developing lesson plans and altering my methods based on the different ways the children learned. I have briefly worked in caring too, which was a different challenge, and allowed me to learn a lot about myself as well as develop my skills in caring.

My Qualifications

I have 5 As at Nat 5 in Maths, Spanish, English, Physics and Biology, and a B in Chemistry at the same level. I also have 2 As at Higher in Modern Studies and Maths, and 5 Bs in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English and Spanish. In Advanced Higher, I have 3 Bs in Chemistry, Biology and Spanish.

My Availability

I currently work at a bar, but intend to develop my own base for Tutoring and Babysitting so I can focus on that full time. I am away from University until September for the summer, and then will be available most evenings, some daytimes, and all weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £20.00 per hour

I charge £15 an hour for Babysitting during the day, with the rate at £20 an hour for overnight. For tutoring it is similar fees, at least £20 an hour too.
