About Me
We are a family of 6, two boys (age 9 & 7) and two girls (age 5 and 19 months). Our 5 year old girl has cerebral palsy and hearing loss, she is non verbal and non walking, but can crawl. She is very sociable and never wants to miss out on what her siblings are up too. She requires adult support for most physical activities and so we require some help after school when all our children need us for mealtimes, bath and homework etc.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone to join our busy household and be happy to muck in and play with the girls inside/outside, or do some reading with the boys. Training will be given in how to support our daughter in feeding and drinking and in handling when moving her around. We require after school support at home 2-3 days a week (roughly 3:30 - 7:30) and potentially ad hoc hours over the weekend and during the school holidays.
