About Me
Hello my name is Mary, I have 5 years experience within childcare, I have worked privately and in childcare settings , my aim is to provide children with stimulating activities according to their age range to support there development, I work accordingly to the Early years foundation criteria with a Montessori approach through playing, a key factor for children is love and care and consistency which i like to provide by bonding with the child and ensuring I know their needs and likes and interests, as well as a good relationship with parents to share their early milestones and work together for their needs and parents wishes, if you have any queries please do not hesitate to give me a message as i am happy to respond.
I provide my own childminding room based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire which was a room converted into a nursery, the room provides a sleeping area for the children , nursery for the children to be able to play with other children- all ratio guidelines are met the room is set up for stimulating children according to the Eyfs requirements and a a dining area for eating.

I have been within childcare for 5 years , I have experience with all different age ranges and supported with Senco children, I am level 2 and 3 qualified in Childcare with certification, I have a full enchanted DBS, I do regular courses to ensure I’m updated with childcare such as safeguarding, food and hygiene and effective teaching in early years and many more which can be found on my profile, feel free to look.

Mary has looked after both my twins from the early age of 10 months until they was 2 , she has had a massive impact on their development and always spends the time setting up activities and spending quality time with them. My children love her as well as us as a family as she has been a great support and give my children the love they need when we are working! She looked after them 5 days a week full days she still regularly babysits them for me when needed and is really flexible and even shows she cares by checking up on them and us as well which is really lovely to have as it shows she’s a kind hearted genuine caring young lady who is great at what she does and knows what she’s doing, the children also often ask for Mary and talk of her highly! I have recommended her to friends and they have always positive things to say about how good she is, I wouldn’t recommend any other childminder or babysitter as she’s the real Mary poppins 💗
