About Me
I am a registered childminder, I have worked with children for 30 years and I have the ability to make a difference and support children’s needs. I like working in partnership with parents helping and supporting as well as creating a good rapport which makes childcare much easier for both children and their parents. I have worked at different settings, of which I have gained vast experience in childcare, hence, the need to extend my experience and knowledge in conducting a business of mine. My home environment is safe and warm based on child led play, promoting diversity and inclusion. We set up different activities following children’s interests, expanding on this in order for them to learn and progress in all areas of development.
I love cooking healthy meals, children can have breakfast, lunch and evening meal (tea time), healthy snacks in between, making sure children are well fed and heathy also bearing in mind if there are children with allergies or special diet. Sleep area is provided for sleep time and children are checked at intervals whilst sleeping.
My Experience
I have worked with children for over 30 years and I have the skills and knowledge to work with any age group. I got my qualification in 1998 and I have not stopped supporting and caring for children till date. My passion is to make a difference in the life of children in my care. I worked in one nursery continuously for 17 year, one nursery for 3years and some for 2 years. I had experienced working with agency who would send me to various nurseries and schools hence gaining experience and knowledge.
