My Experience

I am a Level 2 qualified Early Years practitioner.
I am paediatric first aid trained.
I am fully up to date on safeguarding training.
I have a full clean drivers licence and my own car.
I have worked with children from the age of 6 months up to 5 years.

My duties are:

Registering children in and out of the setting

Preparing breakfast, snack, lunch, and tea for the children

I have seven key children and as the new EYFS set in into 2021 it is important that I know these children and their development off the top of my head.

I write observations on all children and added them to their learning journal when I am given planning time. This helps me to write ‘next steps’ for my key children.

I set activities aimed to help these children’s needs and development.

I really enjoy ‘in the moment planning and love learning new ways to extend the children’s learning.

I take part in all aspects of the nursery, toileting, group time, sleep time, garden time. Reporting accidents/incidents and am always confidential with my approach.

I to talk to the parents with regards to any concerns they have or anything that we need to know as a nursery and communicate this with my team.

I write termly reports and discuss these with parents during parent’s evenings.

I work within a small team and like to share my thoughts and ideas with them.

I am very well organised with my workload and am an organised person.

I am able to provide references on request.

• Nannying from £10.50 per hour (gross)
