About Me
Hello I am a stay at home mum of two. I have a son with additional needs, medically and developmentally. He is a sweet, fun and charming little 3 year old with speech and language delays and requires constant supervision for his medical condition. I juggle a lot of responsibilities at the moment (mum duties, medical meetings / appointments, general household upkeep) and I’m looking for help to make this easier and give us a little weight lifted so we can enjoy our precious time together as a family.
As the expression goes “you can’t fill from an empty cup”.
My Requirements
I am seeking assistance from someone who has great experience with children with SEN, someone who is engaging and fun. Ideally you will be someone who has makaton, pecs knowledge and confidence to use it. Communication is really important especially regarding my son’s medical needs. Most of the time he is well and we manage well with him as a family but his condition can change unexpectedly so it is vital that this is responded to in line with his emergency protocol and we are informed in the first instance if you are ever with him without us. The likelihood that we will not be with you is unlikely until we are all happy and confident but it would be nice to have a needed break at some point. We are looking for someone who would like to join us for days out as an extra pair of hands and eyes and also someone who is flexible to offer home help to play with my son while I attend virtual meetings / phone calls or while I sort bits out around the house. Alternatively it would be very helpful if someone can help with housework E.g clean bathroom, kitchen, floors and things. At the moment it’s a lot for me to do on my own so if you would like to join us for laughter and happy days your help would be greatly appreciated.
