Hello my names Jasmine. I am 28 years old and I live in North Chailey with my long term partner. Family is the most important thing in my life, I have 1 older sister and 2 nephews. I have a full clean driving licence and my own car. I have been driving for 10 years. And I also have clean past DBS checks.
I have a strong passion for caring for children as myself and my sister have been brought up around children. My mother was an ofsted registered childminder. She looked after children of different ages, ethnicity, and even children with special needs (including children with downsyndrome and children who are mentally and physically disabled). Me and my sister have taken up childcare and worked in nurseries and as nannies working with disabled children in Lewes and surrounding areas.
My last recent job was providing childcare for 2 year old boy with developmental delay. Using Makaton and sign language to communicate. Providing educational activities to enhance development. Providing nutritional snacks and meals, bathing and all round care.
I am highly experienced with children birth - 10 years old (both sexes) and children with special needs. I offer a highly reliable, safe and secure childcare service! I have many references.
My Experience
2007 - 2009:
Helping a mum look after her 2 week old baby boy, 3 days a week and overnight stays when her and her partner went out.
2007 - 2011:
Child minding a 4 year old boy, 3 evenings a week until his parents came home.
2011 - 2011:
I have been a college student at South Malling C of E Primary School, Where I worked in reception class with children aged 4-5 years.
2012 -
Babysitting 2 twin boys 18months old for a whole weekend. Staying overnight Friday-Sunday.
2013-
Babysitting reguarly 3 times a week for a couple and there 3 sons 1,3 and 5. Roughly 4 hours at a time.
2012 - 2014:
I have been a student at Windmill Nursery working with children aged 2-4 years. Undertaking an apprenticeship in Children's and Young Peoples Work Level 2.
2014 to 2015:
Nanny for 3 boys, 6, 7 and 9. Every other week, 5 days a week. Preparing breakfast, dinner, helping with home work, school pick ups and drop offs. Control of fathers credit card to pay for food deliveries and to pay for activities for the children i.e swimming, football and treats after school.
2016 to 2017:
Mothers help for 3 year old boy who's mum was heavily pregnant and had health complications. Duties including school pick ups and drop offs, bathing, preparing snacks and pack lunches. Left in March 2017 due to needing foot surgery and 6 weeks recovery.
2018 to 2019:
Caring for disabled elderly lady three days a week. Duties include showering her and dressing her for the day. Dressing any wounds and transfering her to and from appointments in my car.
2019 to 2020:
Nanny for a 15 month old boy. duties included changing nappies, playing with toys, taking him on walks, preparing snacks and drinks, teaching him basic EYFS with special activities.
2022 to 2023:
Providing childcare for 2 year old boy with developmental delay. Using Makaton and sign language to communicate. Providing educational activities to enhance development. Providing nutritional snacks and meals, bathing and all round care.
