As a student at Kingston University, I have always had a passion for working with children. I have been drawn to their energy, curiosity, and endless imagination.
Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have several nieces and nephews that lived nearby. Being around them sparked my love for children and solidified my desire to work with them in the future. I have spent countless hours with my nieces and nephews, watching them grow and develop into the amazing individuals they are today.
In addition to spending time with my family, I have also had the opportunity to work as a babysitter for the past two years. During this time, I have taken care of children of various ages and backgrounds. I have gained valuable experience in creating fun and engaging activities, preparing meals, and providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children I care for.
As a nanny, I understand that the safety and well-being of the children in my care is of the utmost importance. I am committed to providing exceptional care and ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. My Experience
Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of workings with children for 3-4 hours a day. During this time, I have gained valuable experience in providing excellent care and creating a nurturing environment for the children in my care.
In my previous role, I was responsible for looking after kids on a daily basis. My primary responsibilities included picking them up from school, helping them with their homework, and playing with them. I found that playing with the children was a great way to build trust and rapport with them, which made it easier to help them with their homework and other tasks.
In addition to these duties, I also prepared light meals for the children and looked after them overnight when their parents were away. I understood that the safety and well-being of the children were my top priority and I took great care to ensure that they were comfortable and happy in my care.
One of the most important things I learned from my experience working with children is the importance of patience and flexibility. Children have a unique way of looking at the world and sometimes, it can be difficult to understand their perspective. However, I found that taking the time to listen to their thoughts and feelings helped me build a stronger connection with them.
Another key skill that I developed was the ability to multi-task.
