Lisa and Martin have been looking after my son for more than a year, and he loves going every time. They have a very positive attitude to Childcare with a real emphasis on making him feel at home, sometimes I think he would quite happily stay with them all week if he could. I also feel that he has learnt how to interact with other children both of the same age and older. I would recommend letting your children join the extended family of Little Butterflies as soon as possible.

My two children have been looked after by Lisa and Martin after school since September 2012.
Lisa and Martin's is like a home from home. The children have settled in really easily and it is just like an after school play date for them they often don't want to go home when I arrive to collect them!
It is a safe and happy environment where all of the children seem happy and there are lots of different toys to play with. All the children get along together no matter what the age differences!
I would highly recommend Little Butterflies as happy children gives great piece of mind whether you are looking for after school care or pre-school care.

My son has been regularly looked after by Lisa and Martin since April. It was the first time he'd been left with anyone unfamiliar, however the unfamiliar very soon became the familiar. Lisa and Martin were excellent in welcoming my son into their home and making him feel at ease. For the first few days, naturally there were tears, but Martin and Lisa always sent a text to reassure me when the tears stopped. Now there are no tears, just a hug, a kiss and a wave off!
The children clearly have lots of fun with Martin and Lisa - painting, squirrel spotting, visiting an indoor play centre, playing in their garden etc. My son always has the lunch that they provide, which is always varied and wholesome.
The dynamics of a couple minding the children is definitely a huge advantage - there's 2 pairs of hands and 2 sets of eyes to ensure the children are well cared for. Furthermore, it means both paternal and maternal attributes are represented.
My son's behaviour and demeanour have improved tremendously in the past few months since visiting Martin and Lisa. His ability to communicate is also much better. There has been huge advances in his development and progression, so we are extremely satisfied with the service that Little Butterflies provides.
