About Me
My name is Lily Weir and I am 21 years old, I study French and Business at the university of Edinburgh. I am a fun, confident and friendly person who loves working with children! Hence why I chose to spend my year abroad in Paris working in primary schools / nurseries. I love to be outside, play boardgames and swim - I am essentially up for any activities your kids would be interested in and will probably enjoy them just as much as they will!
My Experience
I have spent the last year living in Paris working at both a nursery and a primary school as an English teacher, whilst also working as a babysitter / part-time au pair for two young girls (aged 8 and 9). I therefore have good experience when it comes to working with young children, and am also available for help with homework etc. from my teaching experience. I have grown up as the eldest of three children with many younger cousins whom I have also spent time looking after.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher and have done basic first aid skills at school as part of my Gold DofE.
My Availability
I am looking to work part time or as an emergency babysitter during my summer before returning to university in September, therefore my availability changes throughout the week, however I will mainly be free afternoons, after school and evenings and also on weekends!
