About Me
Hey i’m Astride, i’m based in Reading but i have no problem with travelling far! I get along with children easily, and genuinely enjoy babysitting them. I like to play sports, draw, and any other active activities, I would love to do with them! I have currently just finished my A levels, of Geography, Philosophy and Sociology so i have quite a broad understanding of random subjects. Friends and family would describe me as attentive, patient, outgoing and a practical person, which luckily go well with looking after children!
My Experience
When it comes to experience, I worked in care home most of last summer, my role there was to give them their meals, help them bathe and just spend time with them, for example, reading, taking walks and watching TV. I also, as work experience in Year 11, spent some time in my local nursery, as a ‘teaching assistant’ so I would help the children with their tasks,with nap time and other activities that was required.
My Qualifications
I’m in the process of getting my DBS checked.
I have passed all my GCSES specifically, Maths and English.
I have taken my three A levels and completed an EPQ, which i wrote a dissertation on the question, ‘Is marriage necessary?’
and my A levels are predicted to be BBA
My Availability
I am available all week I would prefer to finish my shift no later then 10 and start no earlier then 7.
