My Experience

I have vast experience of working with children from the ages of 4 months – 11 years. I recently decided to remove myself from the classroom setting a successful eight year career progressing to a Department Leadership role in a Primary SEN School. My decision to step away was not easy but I needed to prioritise a better work life balance and in July 2022, I started my first role as a Full-Time Nanny and I love it!
I have since been working for a family, as a live out Nanny to three beautiful girls under the age of seven. Responsibilities as part of this role included:
- general before school duties, ensuring children were up dressed fed and prepared for their school days.
- Taking them to and from school or alternative child care arrangements including after school and holiday clubs.
- Arranging children's social calendars and supporting in attendance to health appointments. - All food preparation and cooking (including the purchase of weekly grocery shops).
- All laundry and purchase of new clothing relating to the children.
- General light housekeeping, tidying of bedrooms, cleaning of bedding, sorting through wardrobes and rotating clothing according to appropriate size or season.
- Giving support when preparing for family holidays or weekends aways.
- following general family routine and reinforcing positive behavioural expectations as agreed with parents.
- Occasional overnight stays were also required when parents were both away for work commitments or social events. The family no longer require my services but were extremely satisfied with the care I provided whilst working for them.

My Availability

- Flexible on timings throughout weekdays and is willing to work evenings.
- Open to additional overtime with plenty of notice.
- Open to overnight stays with plenty of notice.
- Open to completing animal care as part of my role if the family have pets
- I would prefer to be employed as a full time Nanny for one family (ideally loooking for 45-50 hours a week)
- Would be open to supporting more than one family if the days required could work alongside each other.
- I am a huge advocate for establishing a positive work life balance and therefore do not work weekends or bank holidays. This enables me to fully rest and have precious time do the things I love so I can return to work feeling happy and refreshed for the following week.

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

Currently only available for weekend daytime nanny work or evening babysitting.

DAYTIME HOURLY RATE
£16- £18 per hour (net) - depending on number of children and the needs of each individual(s) in my care

DAYTIME OVERTIME RATE
Happy to discuss in person if family are interested

BABYSITTING RATE
£14 per hour (net)

OVERNIGHT RATE
Happy to discuss in person if family are interested in occasional overnight stays.
