About Me
Hello, I am a mature fully qualified teacher. After many years in the classroom, I decided to cut back work and focus on tutoring. I have never been busier and I enjoy the freedom that on line tutoring gives me. I am Italian, but I have lived in UK for most of my life. As a tutor I aim to establish a strong relationship with the children as well as the parents, who I very much involve in the teaching process. I have high expectation of each child, but the learning I offer must be of a level which does not discourage them, but offers opportunities to progress, consolidate and embed their learning. Resilience is a key factor which will allow the child to be extended without the fear of failing.
My Experience
I have worked for many years in a variety of schools, mainly independent, across most primary year groups. I have a clear understanding of the curriculum and I work with children who needs support to progress, as well as children who require extra support for the 7+,8+ and 11+ exams. In addition, I have had a lot of experience with children who have English as a second language. Two years ago I completed a CELTA certificate, which allows me to teach English as an additional language.
My Qualifications
BA Honour degree in Education and PGCE in primary education - QTS ( Qualified Teacher Status)
My Availability
Please note I only teach online. If you are in London, I would be happy to first meet you and your child in person. I am currently very busy in preparation for the imminent 7+ 8+ 11+ exams in October to December. After those dates, I will have many more availabilities.

My fee includes : email before the lesson with breakdown of what will be taught and material to print - zoom link - email feedback of the lesson, areas to work on, suggestions of how to support your child at home and any homework you might require.
