About Me
I am currently working at a nursery and have been for the last year. I love working here and i love the bonds i have with the children. Because of this, i would like to work with a smaller amount of children on a one to one level to create stronger bonds and help impact their growth more. I love working with children, I enjoy seeing them reach their steps as they grow, and helping them achieve things. I am 20 years old, healthy and fit and love to do things that are active as i feel like this is extremely important at young ages. I am mainly based with 2-3 year olds, so this consists of helping to potty train, starting to read and write, and helping with colours, shapes, alphabet, numbers ect. I have a very big family and i have always been on the eldest cousins in the family, so i naturally, from that have developed a maternal nature. I have previously worked in a hotel, housekeeping, so i am very comfortable with cleaning and house work. I have also worked in a kitchen and really enjoy cooking, so am happy to cook meals for children. I am also first aid trained.
My Experience
1 year at a nursery. Working with ages 6 months to 4 years. I also have worked at the after school club that is connected to my nursery working with ages 4-11. Previous to this, i worked as an assistant for 2 years at a dance school working with the same ages. I have a lot of experiencing in babysitting too, which can consist of putting the children to bed, making them dinners, days to the park, cleaning and housework ect.
My Qualifications
Currently studying my level 3 in childcare. Alevel in english, art and computer science. First aid.
