My Requirements

We’re a family seeking a kind, emotionally attuned nanny to care for our daughter (2.5 years old) in our home. She’s bright, sensitive, funny — and recovering from some difficult experiences in childcare settings. Because of that, we’re looking for someone gentle, calm, and patient who can help her rebuild a sense of safety and trust with adults outside her family.

We are not comfortable with her being taken out into public settings (parks, shops, etc.) at this stage, so we are looking for a nanny who is happy to support learning and play from home or in our garden only.

? What We’re Looking For:
• Trauma-aware or emotionally intuitive caregiver
• Someone who can follow a slow, trust-building approach
• Confident working with one child in a home environment
• Happy to avoid public outings or drop-ins (we’ll provide resources and supplies)
• Comfortable working alongside a parent at times (mum works from home occasionally)
• First Aid & DBS essential
• Experience with toddlers required; qualifications in early years/child psychology a bonus
• References required

Our home is calm, warm, and child-friendly. We’re not looking for someone to do housework — we’re looking for someone to form a gentle, respectful bond with our daughter and bring lightness and care into her days.
