My name is Natalie and registered with Ofsted as a Childminder and Home Childcarer. This means I am registered and insured to care for you child at their home.
I am a punctual, reliable and a talkative person, who loves to laugh and have fun. I enjoy communicating with children and young people through Arts & Crafts, talking and outdoor activities, including trips. I believe it is important the children take part in choosing the activities they are doing. I like to give ideas and we talk about the choices or if they have an ideas work how it can be done.
As well as building a good relationship with the children I care for, I feel it is just as important to have a good relationship with the child/ren's immediate family.
I do also believe it is equally important to be respectful to each other. To listen, understand others beliefs and boundaries, regardless of age.
I am a non smoker. Good with dogs and ok with cats. Not good with the small creepy crawly.
As I am registered with Ofsted, my DBS is covered with them.
My Experience
I have been caring for children for over 20yrs, as a player worker manager, youth worker, Teaching assistant, child escort, childminder and Home Childcarer/Nanny (collect and drop off ).
I have managed, supervised and organised both staff and children in activities at settings, trips and home/s.
I care for children mainly from the age of 4yrs to 16yrs. On occasions, in my previous work, I have helped in the nursery
In both jobs as a teaching assistant and child escort, I was working with autistic children.
