About Me
Hi! My name is Rea, I am 20 years old and I have lived in brighton for 10 years after moving down from london where I was born. I have just finished my A levels and have decided to take a gap year before going to University. I have grown up looked after by a childminder, So went from being the youngest to one to one of the oldest which means I feel comfortable with children of all ages. I like to think of myself as a hard working, fun, bubbly person whilst also being a compassionate, patient with a caring nature.
I am actually going to China to be a au pair in late December/ early January, so sadly I won’t be able to stay with a family long term.
My Experience
For one family I helped set up for a 8 year old birthday party. But also with the same family I helped babysit the two siblings after school when their mum was working.
when I was in secondary school I helped out at a Primary school sports day with some other students from my secondary school. For this we helped set up equipment and also directed kids to where they needed to go.
I was a live in Nanny In London for two weeks. I looked after a 6 year old while she was in her summer holidays. I prepared 3 meals a day for her and snacks. As well as that I prepared snacks, activities and got her ready for bed e.g bathing her, brushing teeth and reading books to her to fall asleep to.
My Qualifications
I have no official childcare qualifications but I have just finished my A level when it comes to school qualifications.
I studied textiles and photography A level.
