I am a kind, nurturing, patient and reliable person with more than 10 years teaching and SEND experience outside the UK. I am an advocate of the infinite possibilities, curiosity and multiple intelligences that children hold, as well as the importance of a nurturing environment in which they can thrive. Developing a professional career as a teacher, both in Colombia and the USA, has allowed me to address students’ challenges and difficulties, providing the right support in the form of differentiated instruction or extra strategies they might need. I am a near-native English speaker from Colombia. I lived in the UK for four years studying my Masters’ degree and while working for the University of Leeds, where I developed my English language skills to bilingual status. I also lived and worked in the US as a teacher in bilingual programs.

I have more than 10 years teaching and SEND experience outside the UK. I have worked in early years and primary education mainly at international schools. I have 2 years experience working with SEND pupils adapting curriculum and making the necessary accommodations for students to be successful. I have tutored online and in-person to children.
My Qualifications
BA in psychology. MA in Cultural Studies from Leeds University
My Availability
I'm available during afternoon and after school hours on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. I have availability on Saturday mornings and afternoons too. For babysitting, I'm available Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons, afterschool hours and evenings.
