Like family where i know my kids are safe!

Reviewed

Both my kids attended Gantshill playgroup from age 2 before they went to nursery.
The staff are lovely, like family where they are approachable about any issues/concerns. They were always helping be it toilet training to encourage the children to eat food! Nihan was ever so accommodating incase i needed an extra session to attend family emergencies or returning back to work.
The building itself is a church hall. It is child friendly. The staff modify the room every morning to make it look like a nursery and you would never be able to tell that its a church hall! The only downside to the location is a lack of parking but as i only spend 5mins max picking/dropping the kids, its not such a big issue!
I felt my kids learnt a lot from being at the playgroup! They helped the kids develop into tiny confident individuals who very quickly became independent and self sufficient. Their vocabulary increased, they learned a lot of educational things within a short period of being there.
The playgroup offers two sessions a day from 9-12 then 12-3 which ran alongside normal school hours so i got to pick my younger more or less the same time as my older child from gearies which is very handy if you are a working parent.
I felt very reluctant to take my kids out of this playgroup as both the children and i were very happy with every aspect of the children being there.. But due to age, the kids had to move on!
Thank you to Nihan and the rest of the staff for all your support in helping me with high quality/low cost childcare. Both myself and the kids will miss you!
Thanks,
Sonia
