About Me
My Name is Ade.
I am Ofsted registered and I am a level 3 home-based childminder living in Canterbury. I have two daughters ages 8 and 5 years and I’m an auntie to eleven nieces and nephews, not including my great nieces and nephews - big family!
I have a lot of love for children and committed to providing a high standard of childcare. I’m also very passionate in helping all children grow emotionally, physically and educationally.
I offer a home from home safe, warm and friendly environment for all little ones to play, grow, learn and develop in every area.
I have a good size indoor space for all kinds of play and also a lovely outdoor space which includes a playhouse, slide, sandpit, chalk board, mud kitchen, bird feeder and much more!
I keep parents updated daily with photos of our adventures, track children's progress in the EYFS and regularly assess our planned activities to support and expand the children’s learning.
I am accredited so I can offer the 2,3 and 4 year old's early years funding.
Sleepovers may be arranged for parents who are working nights.
Where possible I like to get out into the community with the children to local libraries, parks, playgroups, walks, shops, woodland walks/trails, outings/day trips and Exploring anything nature.

I follow the EYFS standards plus I have a wide range of resources to help children develop in the 7 key areas of learning.
I’m always actively looking to increase my knowledge and keeping up to date by attending relevant training and webinars.
