About Me

I am an experienced tutor with a background in Computer Science, offering help in Mathematics (KS1-KS4), English Language (KS1-KS4), and Computer Science (up to A-level).

My approach varies from student to student and is of course decided after a discussion with regards to your objectives and subsequent review of your child's current level of attainment. What is constant however, is my belief in the importance of patience and diligence being the most important values we should all expect from ourselves if we want to see your child be the best learner they can.

I am experienced in both in-person work, delivering interactive online classes, and I of course have an Enhanced DBS Certificate.

My Experience

I began tutoring while studying for my degree in Computer Science and have continued since. I have prepared multiple children for 7+, 11+ grammar school entry exams, and seen them improve massively fairly quickly once I understood what our required focuses were. In terms of GCSEs I have experience working with children long-term on their Maths, Statistics, Computer Science and English Language. My proudest success in improving a child's English grade from 4 to 7 from their Yr10 EOY Mock to their final grade.

I have experience working with children who're expecting to sit IGCSE Maths and Computer Science whilst also delivering lessons in larger classes at institutions that prepare children who have grown up outside of the country to sit these exams.

My Qualifications

Studied Computer Science BSc at Sussex.
AST Autism and Neurodiversity Training.
