Hello! I’m Emily and I’ve recently graduated University. I am currently in the process of becoming a special needs teaching assistant and would like some babysitting/tutoring to go alongside that in the evenings!
My Experience
I have lots of experience with children and young people. I worked as an Assistant Team Leader on NCS (National Citizenship service), a residential programme aimed at helping young people connect with others and prepare them for the future. I worked directly with young people with extra needs such as ADHD and Autism. I have also volunteered for the Bookmark charity, a charity that helps young children improve their literacy ability. Furthermore, I have a lot of personal experience as my younger brother has Autism, I have cared for him a lot over the years and learnt a lot from him through his achievements and struggles.
My Qualifications
MSc Psychology (conversion). University of Nottingham. Grade Merit (69.95%) including an 85 in final dissertation.
BA English Literature and Sociology. University of Liverpool. Grade 2:1
A Levels: Sociology (A), English Literature (B), History (C)
