Amazing childminder - has been a life-saver!
We brought our eight-month old son to Tiny Steps a month ago after having a terrible experience at a local nursery where the staff were totally overwhelmed. I was so worried that we would never find somewhere he was properly looked after, factoring in a proper sleep environment, good food, and stimulating, nurturing childcare. After a couple of days at Tiny Steps, I already felt reassured on all three counts. Silvana and Daniel are so caring and attentive with the children, and you can see this reflected in how happy they are there. The group is the right size that the little ones are stimulated/socialised by each other but get enough individual attention, and it's just night and day from the tense and generic atmosphere at the nursery. There is a dedicated quiet and dark room for naps, so our son sleeps like a dream there in conditions similar to those at home, and I love reading about the creative activities like painting and sensory play he's done each day in the diary app Silvana shares with us. The food is varied, healthy, and home-cooked, and there's a great focus on fresh air and the outdoors. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tiny Steps to other parents - particularly those with slightly younger babies who are concerned about the overcrowded conditions of a nursery - and our son has a big smile on his face every time I pick him up from Tiny Steps, so I know he's as happy to be there as we are. Thank you, Silvana and Daniel!
