Hi there! I'm Jess. I'm a trainee counsellor living in south east london. I have a real flair for the arts and enjoy time outdoors in nature too. I'm incredibly passionate about mental health and love finding ways to help others get the best out of theres too! I'm a warm and reliable person, with experience of child care. Whether that's babysitting, nursery work, child counselling or teaching - I feel my past roles have given me a fantastic outlook to provide fantastic care.
My Experience
I'm currently training in children's counselling within a primary school 1 day a week and soon to be finished! this was particularly focused on art therapy and building children's confidence. In my previous line of work, I have worked at private nursery in clapham common as a preschool teacher and a baby ballet teacher. This experience has not only helped aid my organisational skills around lesson plans, meal times etc but also my creativity for working with children. I like to think my training in children's counselling is a massive asset too and would promote a child led atmosphere, that enables them to feel seen and nurtured.
My Qualifications
I have a BA hons in Music and I'm soon to obtain my Diploma in counselling and Psychotherapy.
