About Me
Hi, I'm Megan. I have been working in a primary school since October 2020, mainly early years based with children aged two to five. In this time I have worked very closely with a variety of children, including those with additional needs and medical needs. I'm currently completing my level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (online) recognised by Ofsted and Cache. I'm looking for a role as a full time nanny to work with a family more closely and support them in their day to day lives. This could be caring for the children of any age all day, taking and collecting them from school (I have a full UK driving license and own my own car), taking them to play dates and planning fun, exciting and educational days out for the children/ whole family.
My Experience
I worked as a STA trained swimming teaching assistant for almost 2 years from the ages of 14-16. At 17 I started working in a primary school where I have stayed for 4 years. I have worked in classrooms and settings with children aged 2 to 5 as a key worker and childcare provider. Now I am currently undertaking on online course to complete my level 3 early years educator status recognised by Ofsted and Cache. In this time I have worked with a large variety of children including being a 1 to 1 with children with additional needs. I have also aided in many children's toilet training. I also have experience (4 years) in being the lead practitioner in an after school provision.
My Qualifications
Level 3 paediatric first aid.
Level 3 food hygiene.
Certificate in 'Early years making sense of autism'.
Certificate from safeguarding training centre.
Trained in Read Write Inc.
My Availability
I am available to start anytime after the 1st August 2024. I am available for a full time position (including weekends and nights if needed).
