My Requirements

I’m looking for a part-time nanny Monday to Friday with the following regular hours:
Monday and Friday: 2:30pm - 7pm
Tues, Weds, Thurs: 2:30pm - 7:30pm

We are looking for someone who can help all year round (obviously with holidays!) rather than term time only. In addition to the hours above (24 hours a week), there will be additional hours available on days where we need support all day looking after my 2 year old, taking care of my 5 year old during the school holidays or sometimes in the evening if my husband and I are both at an event. Happy to discuss what the additional hours available would look like in more detail if that’s helpful and also happy to see if we can agree a guaranteed monthly minimum number of additional hours.

The role would typically involve picking my 5 year old up after school, doing his homework with him, taking him to after school clubs / play dates, picking my 2 year old up from nursery, feeding the kids snacks and dinner, playing, bathtime, getting kids ready for bed, and bedtime on some nights.

There will be times when the kids aren’t home or are with us, eg because I’m picking them up or I’m at home doing bedtime, and so we are looking for someone who is happy to do some light housework as well (e.g. light tidying, loading / unloading dishwasher, doing the kids’ washing / putting their clothes away, meal prep / batch cooking for the kids, perhaps clearing out the fridge and putting away a food delivery etc). We have a lovely cleaner who comes 3 x a week so there’s no proper cleaning involved. We are trying to ensure the time we spend with the kids can be spent doing fun things and having quality time so we’re looking for someone who is proactive and happy to pitch in around the edges!

Being a confident driver with a clean driving licence is essential as the nanny would need to pick my 5 year old up from school using one of our cars.

We are looking for someone to start in September at the latest but ideally sooner.
