I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, secure, and valued. I take pride in fostering strong relationships with both children and parents, and I am often complimented by parents who describe how lucky they are to have me care for their children. I offer a wide range of activities inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Montessori principles, including phonics, imaginative play, sensory activities, music, construction, and outdoor adventures. These activities are designed to support the three prime areas of learning — Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal and Emotional Development —as well as the four specific areas: Literacy, Maths, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.
My Experience
With over five years of experience in both childminding and nursery settings, I am passionate about providing a nurturing and educational environment where children can thrive. I specialise in creating a warm, safe, and engaging "home from home" experience, where each child’s individual needs are met with care, attention, and creativity. My love for nature and exploration also leads me to take children to local parks, libraries, and playgroups, encouraging curiosity and discovery in real-world settings.
I am dedicated to creating a playful, educational, and loving environment that helps children reach their full potential, and I take great pride in offering a service that is both professional and heartfelt.
My Qualifications
With qualifications including a Level 3 Award in Home-based Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding Children, I am committed to providing high-quality care that ensures the well-being and development of every child.
