My Experience

Experience working one-to-one in summer clubs with children and SEN individuals allowing their individual needs to be met and allowing for a calm environment which supported them to engage with activities and other children. Alongside vast amounts of experience working with children in school settings, particularly in early years/foundation supporting learning and developing positive relationships with each individual child, adjusting and connecting to the individuals personal needs and personality. I have babysat for next door neighbours for a few years, getting the children of different ages ready for bed and helping to read stories etc. I facilitated innovative weekly activities for children’s groups and holiday clubs in summer, leading group discussions and building strong, supportive relationships with young people so I have experience taking a creative approach to activities. Used initiative and proactive approaches to address challenging situations with the children. Knowledge of safe-guarding regulations, alongside an enhanced DBS check.

My Qualifications

I have an enhanced DBS check and previous experience working with a variety of ages alongside one-to-one with SEN children. I have a First in Psychology BSc degree, with child development modules included throughout, including knowledge on language, reading, writing and motor development. I have also undergone basic First Aid training.

My Availability

I am available for mornings, afterschool and evenings on all week days.

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
