My Requirements
Hi! We’re looking for someone to provide fairly regular babysitting/nannying so that we can go out in the evenings and weekends. We have just one boy who’s currently 13 months old. We’re a happy and relaxed household and would like someone who can be the same and get to know and love our little boy.
I’m not sure if the remit is nanny or babysitter, but I’d like someone who can manage feeding meals, play and bedtime routine while we are not here. Preferably someone with good childcare qualifications and experience. We are not looking for someone to sit in the house while baby is already asleep, which is why I’m not sure if I need a babysitter or nanny! There is no expectation of the person to do domestic chores, looking for professional childcare only.

Abbie’s been working with us as an ad-hoc Nanny for a while now and she’s truly brilliant. Instantly warm and friendly. She bonded immediately with our son and is so easy and happy to be around. She makes a huge effort to make playtime interesting and engaging for our boy, She’s hands on, fits to your routine (or lack of one on our case!) and makes leaving him so much easier. She sends pictures when she’s with him and he always has a great time with her. I’ve no doubt as soon as he can talk he’ll be asking for more Abbie time!
I know how hard it is to find a Nanny, babysitter or any kind of professional childcare, but Abbie is a real gem and I wholeheartedly recommend her.
