I am very disappointed with the level of service and communication provided. My experience has raised serious concerns about the care being delivered. When I raised issues specifically after both of my young children reported that another child had been unkind toward them I found Binti to be rude and defensive rather than open and supportive. Effective communication and a willingness to address parental concerns are essential in any childcare setting, and unfortunately this was lacking. I am also concerned that nappies are not being changed frequently enough and that the children do not appear to be adequately fed while in care. These are basic standards that parents should be able to trust are consistently met. My partner and I initially chose a childminder because our work schedules are very demanding, and we expected a safe, attentive, and professional environment for our children. Sadly, our experience has not met those expectations. Given the seriousness of these concerns, we will be taking the appropriate steps to ensure that all children attending are safe and properly cared for.
