Hi, I’m Essy!

I’m looking for a registered childminder for my daughter, who is currently six months old. I’m due to return to work in August, but I’d love to ease her into childcare when she’s around 9–10 months old, starting with a few hours a day for a couple of days per week.

I’m particularly interested in a childminder rather than a nursery, as I’d prefer a home-from-home environment where she can receive one-on-one attention in a nurturing and caring setting. It’s important to me that she is with someone warm, attentive, and experienced in caring for young babies—someone who will support her development, ensure she’s interacting with other children, and help her meet key milestones.

I’m looking for a childminder who provides a safe, stimulating, and loving space where she can explore, play, and grow. Ideally, you’ll have experience with babies under one, be familiar with age-appropriate activities, and offer a structured but flexible routine with time for play, rest, and outdoor activities. Regular updates on how she’s settling in, what activities she’s doing, and her overall development are really important to me, so I’d love to work with someone who keeps open communication and shares her progress with me.

This is our first child, so finding the right placement is really important to us. We want to ensure she’s in the best possible environment, and naturally, we’ll have plenty of questions along the way! We’re looking for a childminder who is patient, understanding, and happy to guide us through the process as we navigate this new chapter.
