About Me
Hi there! I'm a primary school teacher with 15 years of experience. I am keen to use my experience and knowledge to support children on a 1:1 or small group basis. I have my enhanced DBS check. I am able to tutor virtually, or travel to yours if you prefer face to face. I specialise in developing a love for learning - I am able to support children who might be finding things tricky and need to plug some gaps, and I also able to challenge children who may be aiming for the stars.
My Experience
I have taught in primary schools since 2010. I have taught from Year 2 up to Year 5. I have also previously tutored, so I am familiar with a more 1:1 approach, as well. For the past few years, I was the head of Design & Technology at my school. I loved this challenge & working out ways to get results, whilst also instilling a love for my subject in the children - teaching them that mistakes happen, and how to become resilient when this happens and learn from them.

I have a Bachelor of Education, specialising in working within primary schools.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
I have based my fees on my experience and qualifications. I have tried to ensure my rates are competitive, yet also reflect what I am able to offer to your child. I can offer virtual sessions for £35 per hour for 1:1, whilst in person sessions would cost £40 per hour for 1:1. For small groups of up to 3 children maximum, I can offer £50 per session virtually, whilst in person would cost £60.
