About Me
We are a UK/Australian family of four, consisting of mum, dad and our two girls. We are warm and welcoming and looking for a nanny who will become an important part of our family. We are aware that a full-time nanny role can be a demanding job, and try to offer flexibility where possible (e.g. Friday early finishes). Our previous nanny has been with us for 1½ years and is leaving for personal reasons. She is happy to speak to those considering this role to share her experience with our family.

Role type: Live-in nanny
Start Date: July 2025
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 7pm
Charges: Twin girls aged 2½ years
Accommodation: Exclusive use of the top floor in a newly renovated house, including one double bedroom with Juliet balcony, one sitting room (both with air con), and one large bathroom.
Responsibilities:
• Sole Charge: Full responsibility for the care of two girls during the working week. Both parents work full-time, with 1-2 days from home.
• Daily Schedule: Organise and manage the children's daily activities, including music classes, playground / playgroup trips, visits to nearby parks and gardens, and engaging indoor activities such as reading, arts and crafts, singing and dancing, and playdates.
• Meal Preparation: Plan and set the weekly menu, arrange food deliveries, prepare healthy meals, and handle post-meal cleanup.
• Childcare Duties: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of children's areas (bedroom, playroom etc.), including tasks like laundry, changing bedding, and organising toys and clothes.
About the Area: East Sheen is a vibrant and family-friendly area with plenty of local amenities and activities given the proximity to Richmond Park, Barnes Pond and Kew Gardens. There is quick and easy access to Central London by train (Mortlake) and tube (Richmond, Putney or Hammersmith).
Compensation: Competitive, subject to experience. 4 weeks paid leave (plus public holidays). Paid additional babysitting, always at the nanny’s option.
