My Experience

I have over three years of experience working as a nursery educator, supporting children from birth to five years old in their early development, care routines, and education. As a key worker, I built close relationships with children and families, tracked progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and delivered creative, play-based learning experiences that supported communication, literacy, and numeracy skills. I gained experience with bottle-feeding, weaning, toilet training, sleep routines, and managing transitions with care and consistency.

Alongside this, I have taught older children up to age 11 through wraparound care and school placements. I have planned and delivered structured, differentiated lessons as a class teacher for children aged 3–11, including experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. This has given me a deep understanding of child development across a wide age range, from nurturing infants and toddlers through their early milestones to supporting school-aged children academically and emotionally.

Through my Primary Education degree, I have developed a deep understanding of how children learn and grow across developmental stages. I’ve gained experience in lesson planning, assessing progress, managing behaviour in a nurturing way, and adapting activities to suit different learning styles and needs. I’ve also learned how to support children with additional needs, communicate effectively with families, and build positive relationships that support both academic and emotional development.

Alongside my formal education and early years work, I have also offered regular babysitting for families with children aged 3 to 13 years old. This has given me valuable experience in home-based care, bedtime routines, preparing meals, and supporting children in their familiar environment. Families often describe me as reliable, gentle, and proactive — always happy to jump into play or offer a listening ear.

BA (Hons) Primary Education (3–7) with QTS — Completed 2025
A comprehensive degree covering child development, pedagogy, and inclusive teaching practices for children from birth to age 11.

Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts: Dance
Achieved Distinction Merit Merit grades, developing creativity, discipline, and leadership through dance and performance.

Level 1 Health and Safety
Training in essential health and safety practices relevant to childcare and educational environments.

9 GCSEs including Maths, English, and Science
Academic achievement in core subjects, with additional leadership roles as School Prefect, Anti-bullying Representative, and Charity Representative.

Enhanced DBS Checked
Fully DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and cleared for working safely with children.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday for nannying support, including:

Before school

Morning and afternoon care

After school and evening care

I may also be flexible for occasional weekend babysitting, depending on notice and availability. I understand that family needs can vary, and I strive to offer adaptable, reliable care to support your schedule wherever possible.

My Fees

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
