Hello, my name is Rabiah. I'm a Registered Adult Nurse by trade.
My Experience
I started my care journey as a Community Carer.
I then continued doing this whilst I was a student studying Nursing.
At that time I also worked as a teaching assistant within SENDCO schools for both primary and secondary pupils.
After my studies I specialised in Radiology within a hospital environment. I did this for around 2 years.
I'm now a Disability Assessor for those who need extra support to be able to live independently. I've been doing this for 2 years now.
However I miss having an active life and enjoyed my time as a teaching assistant working with children. The life we live now is extremely demanding and most households require both parents to work to be able to earn a living.
I felt I could put my experience and my personality towards helping families and reducing their pressures.
