About Me
I am a retired secondary school teacher and have 4 grown up children of my own. I have enjoyed raising my own children in a very busy household and working with children both as a teacher and as a physical and sensory support worker. I am fit and physically active, live in Cranleigh and have been doing some voluntary and private teaching since I stopped working in a school environment.
My Experience
Since having my own children, I trained as a Physical and Sensory Support Worker and worked in sixth form colleges and university settings across Surrey for the Post 16 team, Surrey Education. I then retrained as an EAL teacher and worked for Box Hill School and for Residential Courses England in their summer school at King Edwards School.
My Qualifications
I studied English and French and have vocational qualifications. I have been a BI-lingual PA, Sensory Support Worker, Commercial Trainer and Teacher.
My Availability
I am looking for Part Time Work and afternoon, after School or Evening work would suit best but could also provide Overnight care from time to time, if given notice. I am quite flexible and could also work in the morning if necessary, but as I have two labradors that need walking would not want full time work.
