Katherine has been absolutely wonderful with my daughter, Marcie, who is 4 and has some undiagnosed SEN needs. From the moment we met her, she was warm, understanding, and genuinely caring. She took the time to get to know Marcie, understand her individual needs, and create an environment where she feels safe, happy, and confident to be herself.

Katherine’s background as an early years teacher really shines through- she’s incredibly thoughtful in how she plans activities that both support Marcie’s development and follow her interests, which are numbers, drawing and imaginative play! She always finds creative ways to help Marcie learn and have fun at the same time.

Marcie also absolutely loves playing with Katherine’s daughter, Molly. The two of them have developed such a sweet friendship, and it’s been wonderful to see how much joy and confidence that bond has brought Marcie, who was rather shy before.

Communication has been brilliant too, Katherine keeps us updated every day with lovely photos and messages, which means so much. It’s clear she truly cares and goes above and beyond to make each child feel special and included.

We honestly couldn’t ask for a better childminder. Marcie adores her time with Katherine, and we’re so grateful for the patience, understanding, and love she’s shown us. We are happy to call Katherine and Molly close friends!
