About Me
My partner and I welcomed our daughter at the beginning of January 2025, and she’s a cheerful delight. We are both based at home, and have a very friendly dog who’s a credit to us.
We’re remarkably easy-going (is saying that a red flag? No but we are!) but when it comes to our daughter’s care we’re adamant about maintaining her wonder and joy at the world.
We love the outdoors, being creative and cooking good quality food, which our girl is excited to be exploring through baby-led weaning.
We’re also doing elimination communication, which is great and saves wiping a pooey mess from her: she’ll go in the potty like a pro.
My Requirements
I’ve been trying to do some bits of work from home, but it’s been difficult so I’m keen to find focused time to get work done. Because family live far away, we’re just looking for a sort-of stand-in for a grandparent—someone to play with her and to give me the ability to focus for an afternoon here or there. We’re flexible, but ideally Monday afternoon + another two afternoons per week to get started on.
I am still breastfeeding and, ideally, this would continue, but I’m open to expressing if it’s helpful.
As for the care, it’d be great to start in the home (or for brief walks round Radnor Park), before, once we get to know each other, venturing out exploring with her so you can both enjoy some variety.
