Current nanny

Jade is currently working for us 3 long days a week and has been doing so for the past four months. When she first started with us our youngest was 5/6 months and our older son just over 2. They are both rather hard work(!) however she has managed brilliantly, despite the added difficulties of winter and recurrent lockdowns. She settled in within a day or so, and by week 2/3 was doing all of the boys washing and cooking. She takes them out at least once a day in any weather, manages their varying nap schedules and comes up with brilliant play ideas for wintery days which she finds on pinterest etc. She's also shopped for craft materials for them in her own time. They both love her and I'm more than happy to leave them with her despite being a rather hands-on/pedantic/worrying mum!! The best aspects about Jade are her flexibility (she has helped my husband at weekends when I'm working) and her ability to cope with any situation without being phased. For example when she was first with us she asked various mums in the local park for help to get my littlest into a sling she'd never used before.
Also she whizzes around the house in her last 15-30 mins here and everything is tidy when she leaves. Very punctual.

We're hoping to keep Jade 3 consecutive days/week but are flexible re days of the week.

Temporary Nanny for 3 children

Jade is currently working as our temporary nanny, until our permanent nanny starts in Mid November.
Jade is a really friendly, bubbly and confident nanny who has fitted into our family unit with ease. She has developed a lovely relationship with all our children in a very short space of time. She comes up with inventive and creative ways to entertain all 3 kids, both indoors and out and has shown initiative organising and booking classes and groups to take them to.
Jade is reliable and punctual. I get on very well with her and she is a pleasure to have in the house. If we didn’t have a permanent nanny already appointed, we would definitely want to keep her on! Highly recommended.

Jade

Jade was our nanny from October 2012 to April 2014. She worked part-time looking after my two daughters. Neither of my children had been looked after prior to Jade starting; she quickly gained their trust and the girls love being with her.

I think one of Jade’s main strength is her creative ability to encourage learning through play. She is always coming up with different things to do and see. She is also active and spends a lot of time at the park or beach.

I have found her to be accommodating and flexible in her approach to work.

In summary, Jade possesses some lovely qualities: She is very reliable, trustworthy, motivated, and understands the requirements of a modern family. I highly recommend her as a child-minder.
