About Me
A young, professional family in Leamington Spa looking for a live-out nanny for up to 12 months to have sole-charge of their two children whose current ages are 3 years and 7 months. The older child attends a local preschool 0800-1530 (Monday to Friday). The family live in a central location with a good sized garden. Green areas, parks and the town centre all within a short walking distance. The family have a small dog who is very friendly.
My Requirements
The family are looking for an experienced nanny with excellent, checkable references. Must have relevant experience with both age groups and be able to support the children with early years’ development and organise appropriate age relevant activities within the area. Must be competent in all nursery duties including preparing healthy meals, children’s laundry and maintaining tidy play areas. The nanny’s roles would also include preschool drop-off and pick up of the older child on their working days. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with parents, grandparents (who live locally) and the preschool. This role will suit a kind, engaging, enthusiastic and proactive individual. The family are looking for someone who has a degree of flexibility and is able to help out/ babysit if the parents have to work a longer day. Holiday travel is optional but preferable. The nanny must have: a childcare qualification with experience, DBS on the update service, paediatric first aid and the right to work in the UK. The family have a small dog who is very friendly. Dog walking is not expected but welcome should the appointed candidate wish to help with this. Driving is essential. Working hours 36-42 hours per week.
