About Me
My name is Ebony, and I am a Level 3 qualified childcare professional with over 3 years’ experience supporting children aged 0–5 in early years settings. I’m passionate about creating a calm, nurturing environment where your children feel safe, confident and valued. I’m committed to building trusting relationships with both children and families, and I approach each day with patience, positivity and genuine care. I am keen to learn and adapt as I transition into this role, ensuring I can fully support each family’s routines and individual needs. As I begin my journey into nannying, I’m excited to bring my reliability, warm nature and passion into a home environment to support children’s growth, development and everyday happiness.
My Experience
Agency Early Years Practitioner – [Manaba] | [August 2024- Ongoing]
My role involves supporting a variety of early years settings and children of different ages. This job has allowed me to further develop a wide range of skills and knowledge on children aged 0 through to 5. At many of these settings, i have built positive relationships with children and staff, gained experience managing diverse needs, and learned crucial skills from other childcare practitioners to shape my practice. The versatility of this job has strengthened my ability to provide high-quality care, promote children’s development, and respond confidently to different challenges in childcare environments.
As part of this job I have worked specifically in baby rooms, providing care for children aged 0–2, and have also supported children aged 2–4 (toddlers and pre-school) assisting with their learning, play, and development
Part-Time Classroom Assistant – [Horndean Infant School] | [September 2022-May 2024] (unpaid placment)
I worked for two years as a part-time classroom assistant in a local infant school, supporting children aged 4–5 with their learning and development. In this role I formed meaningful, supportive connections with the children, assisted with classroom management, and supported children both one-to-one and in small groups with reading, writing, and early numeracy. I contributed to creating a calm, engaging learning environment and worked closely with teachers to meet each child’s individual needs. This experience proved incredibly valuable, giving me the opportunity to put my Early Years training into practice and develop my skills in real-world settings. My passion for working with young children really flourished here and i am grateful to have had this opportunity to learn.
I have no previous Nannying experience but I am really excited to start out in this role and find wonderful families to work with!
