Amazing Childminder - An extension to our family

Reviewed

Gemma looked after our son Rocco from the age of 12 months to 3 years old.

The prospect of having to leave Rocco at such a young age broke my heart and until meeting Gemma, I wasn’t sure I could go back to work. From the moment we met, she was extremely professional and organised and yet incredibly understanding and caring. Rocco settled in immediately and in fact it was probably a harder adjustment for me than him. Every morning Gemma would have activities and toys laid out around the theme for the month ready to stimulate the kiddies and Rocco would be welcomed at the door not only by Gemma but also by her gorgeous and incredibly caring and polite son Kai, who Rocco still sees as his buddy and big brother today.

Most days we would get picture updates of what Rocco had been up to which always included trips out whether it be to toddler groups, nature walks, the library, or more of an excursion to a fun park all while learning about the world. We were always kept updated and felt like we were involved in his day.

I was amazed at the amount Gemma could get through in a day, what Rocco would learn and all the fun the kids had together while keeping an immaculately clean and organised house.

Gemma shows great creativity in the activities she organises and we have had some amazing pieces of art that we still have up on the walls today.

The food Gemma prepares is always fresh and healthy and I never had to be concerned about Rocco getting his 5 a day! Gemma is a fantastic role model and someone I admire and have learnt such a lot from myself.

Rocco has so many special memories of his time with Gemma, she has really helped to shape him into the boy he is today which we will always be grateful for. You couldn’t get a more professional, organised, fun and caring childminder.
