About Me
I am OFSTED registered and fully Insured PACEY member. I live in Pound Hill with my Husband, three children and pets. I provide a fun loving 'home from home' stimulating environment. I have a dedicated playroom which provides an extensive range of books, toys, games and educational resources. My lounge, dining room, conservatory and garden are available for childminding along with toilet facilities, ensuring the children have plenty of space in which to play, learn and have fun! In the garden, we have a range of outdoor play equipment and is also home to our garden pets and wildlife. Our house caters for additional outside space for the children (bike and scooter riding,roller skating etc). I offer outings to the park, farms, local library and groups, as well as National Trust visits. Activities include painting, baking, music, art and craft, messy play and many more! I provide healthy, nutritious snacks and home made meals, facilitating vegetables and fruit from the garden.
My Experience
I aim to provide a high quality service to both parents and children, drawing on my previous experience as a primary teacher and my additional qualifications as well as experience. I have undertaken voluntary work within local pre-schools and playgroups and returned to working with children when my second child started school.
My Qualifications
As well as GCSE's and A levels, I have achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree joint English with Honours and Qualified Teaching Status. More recently CACHE level 3 Diploma in home-based childcare. I am a fully Insured PACEY member. I currently hold a VRQ level 2 certificate in Paediactric First Aid.
My Availability
8 til 6pm Weekdays, however am flexible and can offer additional hours dependent on requirements.
