We feel very lucky to have found Alex and Mi Casa for our son when he was a quiet little 1 year old (and I was a very anxious mummy)! Our boy has thrived over the last 3 years in the nurturing, adventure filled setting, growing in confidence and skill from the get go. Her ethos matches our own, allowing him the freedom to explore his interests with encouragement yet making sure he is safe and cared for at all times. For me, Mi Casa has provided the absolute best of both worlds for early years childcare. As a childminder, Alex provides a caring home from home atmosphere, such as dinners cooked with love, and even making us home made gifts with the children (I’m still using my gorgeous body scrub from Mother’s Day!). That being said, Mi Casa benefits from a purpose built playroom separate to her home, and a fantastic zoned garden for learning, playing and interacting that is larger than many nurseries in the area. The children also frequent the local community garden close by where they have their own patch to maintain and enjoy. I am so happy to see my son’s love for the outdoors grow! Alex has a purpose to each activity they do, and follows the EYFS curriculum, along with incorporating the Spanish language into their day. Each morning I put my son in to Alex’s care, I know he is building necessary skills for learning, but is also cherished as an individual, whilst growing strong morals of care, kindness and confidence.
We are so grateful for Alex and the exceptional care she provides, and I couldn’t recommend Mi Casa enough.
